Sculpting with a Chainsaw

Chainsaw artist Eric Widitz - hired by Bittertang Farm to sculpt the individual logs that comprise each of the seven totems of The Living Room pavilion at PermaPark.

Eric visited CCA and worked with students on soap sculptures before spending the opening weekend of the Chicago Architecture Biennial at PermaPark.

                        Eric completed a demonstration for students that culminated in a finished work inspired by CCA's mascot -- a cougar.  

The CCA cougar now guards the park and looks over the pavilion.
