The Available City and The Living Room - Part 1


Sunflower marks the spot before work begins on The Living Room pavilion 
for the 2021 Chicago Architecture Biennial

Two of our old apple trees are removed to accommodate the installation of piers 
that will secure the pavilion

Antonio Torres and Michael Loverich, partners in Bittertang Farm, work long hours on the installation of chainsaw carved tree stumps that will create the pillars for the installation.

Ground shaking delivery of the boulders 
that will be placed as part of the pavilion. 

The Living Room starts to take shape as the pillars are completed
