| Our first of 5 Good City benches - installed today in the food forest |
Many thanks to Odile Compagnon, the designer of the bench, the Creative Schools Fund grant that financed the project and to Doug Rappe and his crew at Greater West Town Project. Their expertise at woodworking - and working with students - made these benches possible.
A quiet spot near the apple trees looking out to Pulaski Rd. The light circle on the side of the bench is actually our school logo - laser engraved and added to each bench.

Our new school logo was designed by Vero Orozco from SAIC! Students learned how to use a laser engraver to create the design on the wood disks.
