SAIC, CCA and the Creative Schools Fund - signage for the food forest

Carrie Wright, recent graduate of the School fo the Art Institute, works with CCA students to assemble the Permpark sign they designed during two workshops early in the semester.

The signage uses lettering created by a CCA student and digitized for laser cutting by SAIC students.

Sign assembly proves a little tricky to create both the front and the back of a sign that will be attached to a large planter.

Multiples of this  diamond design, created by another CCA student, will be installed as plant identification markers throughout the food forest

Now complete, we will assemble and fill the planters in the food forest and then attach the signage.
