Food forest Benches

 Doug Rappe runs the wood working program at the Greater West Town Development Project. He and his team - Danjuma and Charlie, worked with our students all semester teaching them how to read blue prints, measure, plan and build successful wood projects using planers, jointers, table saws,
band saws, routers, drill press, belt sanders, miter saws, drills, clamps, specialized hardware and more.

 The photos here document the process of building multiple benches for our food forest. Students used treated lumber as well as raw cedar to create the work.
