Woodworking - building a home for the Northern Flicker - 3-26-19

Students are building birdhouses for the Northern Flicker - a species of woodpecker.
In the process they are learning how to measure and how to use the augmented reality program WOODed. They continue to practice their wood working skills with various tools and they learned a lot about the very particular nesting needs of various bird species.
